Since then, I founded and operated Veterinary Northwest, an equine and mixed animal mobile practice in Yakima, Washington, and worked in several small animal practices. These experiences provided me with unique opportunities to work with the wide range of farm species and case types.
As I transition from rural practice, I am eager to work with a team in a hospital setting, undertake specialty training, and operate closer to the leading edge of medicine and research.
I look forward to growing into leadership roles within large animal referral centers. My fiancée, Shannon, will be teaching second grade in Rocklin, and we are renting an apartment nearby. I am excited to be closer than ever to Auburn, as my primary activities involve outdoor endurance exercise (and skiing with my new Sugarbowl pass).
